From Coach Hooley:
I thought we showed some improvement in our serve-receive and in defense. We were a little flat on offense tonight despite a nice match from Jesse Hulett at setter. Kelsey Crocker continues to lead the team with her hustle and overall skillset. We have a few older, experienced hitters in Crocker, Amiyah Smith, and Jenna Davis, but we couldn't feed them the ball like we will need to, to be successful.
We were able to battle it out with Three Rivers for about half to two-thirds of each set but our failure to sustain that play for an entire set took us out of the match. I thought the girls showed some grit. They stayed positive and even made a few late game runs. Three Rivers is well coached and have a lot of nice athletes with length.
